What is new in the Genshin Impact 4.8 Update?
As explained above, the Genshin Impact 4.8 Update brings about a brand new area of Simulanka, which is available for a limited time until August 27th, 2024, which is where the Natlan Genshin Impact update will happen, and New Banner draws have arrived in the store with one new character coming in and three reruns!
Emilie is the new character featured in this update who is a Five-Star Dendro Character and uses her perfume to utilize her attack powers. However, she does use her polearm occasionally in battle. Navia, Nilou, and Yelan will be getting their reruns with the former two also getting fairy tale-esque skins to celebrate this summer event!
As always, the formats of the Genshin Impact 4.8 update are split into two by HoYoVerse, so Navia and Nilou’s Banners will be drawn as part of Phase 1 of the Genshin Impact Update, which will be during the duration of July 17th to August 6th, 2024, whereas Yelan and Emili’s Banners will be drawn from August 6th to August 27th, 2024.

Emilie will get her own story quest as well and four new event modes are available to play in this limited-time region! Here are the details:-
- Envisaged Echoes: This event is purely related to the endgame content of Imaginarium Theatre, where players can obtain keys and unlock special cosmetic effects for their characters.
- Bing-Bang Football: You’ll get to play tabletop football with the one and only Basima the Fifth in Romaritime Harbor!
- Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens – Dew-kissed Chapter:- Players will get to interact with Asagiri, the illustrator from Fontaine, and join her to earn Primogems and other rewards.
- Energy Amplifier-Lemma: Genshin players will meet Hosseini, the researcher from Sumeru in Fontaine who wants the Traveler’s help to test it.
